Today Camouflaj announced that the supremely talented David Hayter and Jennifer Hale will be lending their voices to two new characters in the studio’s debut title République.
David Hayter, who is best known for voicing Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series, will be voicing “the head revolutionary in the Orwellian world,” while Jennifer Hale, who is best known for voicing Mass Effect’s female Commander Shepard, will be voicing a villain in the game known only as “The Mentor.”
“David will voice the role of the head revolutionary in the Orwellian world of République who authors much of the anti-Overseer propaganda that players come across in the game,” says Camouflaj’s Ryan Payton. “It’s a character I wrote specifically with David in mind, as he’s not only very politically active but also an accomplished writer. “Jennifer will play the role of a villain character we’re simply calling The Mentor,” Payton added.
République is currently on the last days of its Kickstarter campaign and is scheduled to release next summer on the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and later down the line on PC and Mac.
