Reviews are based solely on reviewer opinions and experiences with the games. Click each rating below to learn how a game earns a given score.

10 – Masterpiece

A true masterpiece and one that is nearly perfect in every possible way. This score is a rarity but when given it means that the game is so outstanding that it is almost impossible to imagine a game that can trump it. These are games that will be remembered for years to come.

9/9.5 – Outstanding

These games are outstanding and are among the best games available on the market. While they may have a few flaws, they still remain top quality games that should be on everyone’s must buy list.

8/8.5 – Great

These games are great and if you’re a gamer then you should play them. They may not be the best out there and may not appeal to everyone but they are still definitely worth your time.

7/7.5 – Go0d

These games are good and enjoyable but have some issues that hold back the overall experience from being something more. They might have some technical problems or some awkward gameplay design choices but they are still fun and are worth a look.

6/6.5 – Okay

These games are ok and nothing more. They may provide for some good times but overall they usually tend to be experiences with limited appeal. Generally these titles are worth a rental or a pickup from the bargain bin.

5/5.5 – Mediocre

These games are mediocre and are treading the line of being just plain bad. You might find a couple of good things but they will be far outweighed by the numerous issues that plague the title.

4/4.5 – Bad

These games are just plain bad. These games usually had the potential to be something but in the end the developers just couldn’t pull it together and instead we are left with a bad game.

3/3.5 – Painful

These games are just plain painful experiences. Major technical problems, poor design choices, and a bad overall concept make these games that should be avoided at all costs.

2/2.5 – Broken

These games are broken and I don’t mean like a physical disk broken. I mean like broken in the sense that pushing a button won’t do anything or that looking at the screen will make your eyes bleed. Do yourself a favor and don’t play these games.

1/1.5 – Pure Torture

These games are solely for masochists. Pure torture in every sense of the word, these games, if you can call them that, have absolutely no redeeming qualities and will making your life a living hell.

0/0.5 – This Isn’t A Game

These games…wait a second these aren’t games, they’re just some kind of interactive piece of garbage that doesn’t even deserve to be pressed on a disk or downloaded.
